Made from English Oak and English Yew
For this bed I took my inspiration from the flames of a fire. The Yew carries the same rich colour tones of flames, I let this link guide the design of the frame.
Here I have test fitted the piece’s together before gluing to make sure they fit together tightly first.
I chard the live edge’s of the boards with a blow touch to frame and further enhance the colours of the Yew. I then cut the bed post wave to mimic the flickering of the flames.
